Our Design and Build Process

At GreenSpace Guru, we value great communication, understanding, quality craftsmanship and a stress-free experience. Whether you are interested in a paver patio, a retaining wall, an outdoor living space or a complete landscape renovation, our team and our process will provide you with a great experience start to finish.

THE FIRST MEETING

At our first meeting we will discuss what you’re looking to accomplish with your landscape installation, establish a budget and perform a detailed analysis of the site including photographs and measurements. With a thorough understanding of the project, we will begin discussing some initial design ideas and decide the direction the project needs to go.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

If requested, our designer will develop creative, detailed working drawings of your vision. Depending on the scale of the project, multiple drawings and options may be created to provide additional clarity and choice. When ready, final plans and a detailed installation proposal will be generated.

DESIGN REVIEW

At this meeting we will review the design and proposal in detail. Product information and the construction process will be explained so you have a complete understanding of your project from top to bottom. If revisions are needed, our designer will take note of your requests and make the changes quickly and attentively to keep the process moving forward.

Once everything is to your liking, we complete an installation contract, collect a deposit, and establish an installation schedule to complete your project.

PROJECT INSTALLATION

Prior to installation, a final review meeting will be held to ensure you have a complete understanding and comfortability with your project.

On start day, the project manager will meet the installation crew on site, walk through the area and explain the project in its entirety to ensure everyone has a detailed understanding of what is to be accomplished.

During installation, our polite and professional installers will implement your vision with efficiency and expertise. Feel free to strike up a conversation with the crew as they are always happy to help!

Your project manager will generally be on site daily to ensure the crew is keeping pace, the project is coming together as planned, and answer any questions you may have.

WRAPPING UP

Upon completion, a final walkthrough of the project will be scheduled to ensure everything was installed to your satisfaction. Any areas of concern will be addressed and corrected promptly.

At this meeting, the final payment will be collected, and you will receive a packet of information about our warranties, general care tips and some special promotions you can take advantage of on future projects or for later maintenance.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN SERVICES

GreenSpace Guru Landscaping offers a range of landscape design services to meet your needs. From simple plantings to outdoor kitchens and paver patios, we can ensure you have the resources you need to see your project realized.

A landscape design helps you visualize your project and make real-time changes before construction begins. This helps to ensure you have a plan that you are happy with and can help to prevent costly change orders during the building process.

After an initial consultation, our designer will take photos and detailed measurements of the site. This information, combined with your ideas will be transformed into a scaled, detailed landscape design complete with material lists, plant types and more. Pricing for landscape designs vary by the project but generally start at $400 for simple projects and could reach $4,000 for highly complex plans. A rough estimate will be given to you prior to beginning your design, and most of our designs fall within the $400 - $1200 range.
